| I'm new to SVG and javascript (although I bought and read Learn SVG I still have a lot of doubts). Could you please tell me how to insert an event (like opening a new window or other types of events) when I click an option in the Unrolling menus svg example in the Routines examples of this site. Eg.: File ->Open -> window.htm. Should I work on the menu.js file or on the menu.svg file? Thanks Lorenzo Boncompagni |

In this example, any choice only open alert window with menu and submenu choosed. To use this example, you have to define action in script of menu.svg in function use_menus(num_menu,num_submenu) as by example : function use_menus(num_menu,num_submenu) { switch(num_menu) {case 1 : switch(num_submenu) {case 1 : define here action or call function;break; ............ } break; case 2 : ......... } menu.js is used only to create, draw and delete rolling menu.
