click svg rect & show descriptive details about it on a

Hi guys does someone know how to interact svg with html.

Basically i need a user to click on a bedroom which is represented as an svg retangle.

And that svg rectangle needs to display information about that particular bedroom for the hotel in html. For example whether it has a bathroom toilet and a tv etc.

So clicking on the svg rectangle and showing a description of details in html
how would i do that?

could i do it using java script and htnk forms?

i have no idea how to do it could someone please help me im really dumb at this...

Why not open on click tooltip with all that you want?
With svg only solution, you have no problem of communication svg <-> html
