SVG Clipping Text

Hi everybody. I have another problem using SVG. I have to show some messages as labels, but sometimes the messages contain text too long. How can I implement a kind of clipping or any algorithm that shows just a part of the text in a specified boundary or an automatic New Line algorithm...

You can use clipPath element and clip-path property to show text only in area choosed.

or best
wait for release of ASV6 to use flowText ( flowRoot now ... ) of SVG 1.2
