XML Elves

I am currently looking into buying Learn SVG, but I am curious if it goes into great detail about how to use the system language and/or switch to make a single document viewable with multiple languages.

I am having a hard time finding real examples, and good explanation of how to correctly addreess this issue...as well as how to handle unicode fonts properly and and how to redirect to fonts that are not found.

Obviously I am not experienced or as well versed in SVG as the rest of you, but I need to learn and understand how to handle these issues.

Also if someone has some examples of internationalization uses, I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Ron,

In book 1 we do not go into great depth about internationalization. One of appedix deal with Unicode characters. However, we will discuss Internationalization in greater depth in book 2 which is due out in a few months. Of course it helps if you are able to support us by purchasing book 1 ;-)

Ok, perhaps I will buy both books...it's probably better to start with basics, as I can tell already that SVG has a long way to go at being totally implemented into other applications.
