I have nearly finished with the main bits in my dissertation at university and decided to publish what I have done so far so to you so I may get suggestions and comments.

Please, feel free to download the SVG optimization tool I have developed in Java. With Extensible SVG Optimizer you can extend it with your own optimization files (XSLT) and it will be added to the tool as a new tick box. All of the information and download instructions can be found at:

Please, try it and let me know what you thing or if you find any bugs. So far I have done few basic XSLT files but I am working on more advanced once and this will be added soon.

I have also established a forum where you can post your comments or suggestion or even bugs...its open for anything...

Remember, this tool is developed for educatinoal purpose ONLY so I am not trying to sell or advertise.
